Road Trip
May 19, 2009 at 9:01AM Quick little update. I shot 74 in the US Open qualifier, 71 played off. I hit the ball well, chipped and putted good enough, but my decision making cost me. Not playing any tournament golf has hurt me two tournaments in a row. Every time I play, I play either a skins game or match play. They don't punish short siding yourself and too much aggression in the same way as stroke play. So I learned a good lesson, and I need to pick my way through the golf course when I get into real tournament rounds.
Heading this weekend to the Saltwater Classic in Wyoming for my first multiple day tournament in 5 months. That's exciting. Then the Provo Open the next week. Two three day tournaments in a row! Hopefully followed by two four day tournaments! Wow, I'm playing golf again.
