Ready to Play Some Golf

Got my car. I did get ripped, but as I said I needed my car too badly.

Now it's time to shoot a low number. I'll leave the other stuff for later.

I feel your pain. I had a fuel pump go out in my vehicle stranding me in a section of Kansas City that was not the greatest. You know your in a bad spot when mail carriers come up to offer you a ride telling you that they won't let you stay there after dark and to write your vehicle off as a total loss if you can't get it started.

Lucky for me I was able to get it towed, and then miraculously started and drove it 3 hrs home where it died for good.

Wow, it wasn't that bad. One thing about it all was I was in a good neighborhood. Don't know that there are a lot of bad ones on Vancouver Island. I wanted to see a little more of the island, but I was stuck dealing with this crap. Cars break down, though, have to deal with it.

I wouldn't have been able to leave the island without my car, so our stories meet somewhere along the line.
