1st Stage Round 3
Oct 25, 2007 at 7:20PM I made a late charge today to shoot 71, leaving me at -2 for the week. I'm still way off the qualifying number. My full recap will be out at mvn.com/golf or at armchairgolfblog.blogspot.com tomorrow morning.
It was weird today. I didn't get nervous 'til it looked like I was going to blow it. After that, I played great. Maybe that's a good sign for tomorrow.
I've made myself a tough climb, but a really good score will still do it. Do or die time now.

I've been following your progress, and have also been looking at the scores at the other courses.
What's the deal with the par 3 6th? Looks like it hasn't been good to you. Small / tough green? Brutal pins? All of the above? :)
Today's goal :
1) Par the 6th hole :)
2) Your last thought before hitting each putt or short-game shot : see the ball go in the hole !

About 6. Well, I three putted the first day. The next two days I had simple chips from the fringe and didn't get up and down. Planning on making birdie there today.
