Rounding Out the Year

Just finished up with the Rocky Mountain Open and the Utah Open. I played pretty good each week, getting nothing out of my game. I ended up around 20th place each week, which isn't terrible but was nowhere near my goals.
I've got three tournaments coming up in the next couple of weeks. After that it's time to make plans for the winter. The Idaho Open and the New Mexico Open are decent sized tournaments, so getting a good finish would be a big deal.
The family will be taking their first golf trip to the Idaho Open next week. Having Zac around is a sure way to brighten the mood!

From the Rocky Mountain Open

Things are moving along in the Swilor household. Little Zac is a stud, he is doing great, thank God! What a blessing! Mommy has had her ups and downs, giving us a scare with her blood pressure. She sure is tough, and she's one awesome mom!

On the golf front things are good too. I played some solid golf at the Salt Lake City Open, getting near the lead. Nice since I hadn't played much at all leading up to the tourney. We had other things to do! I ended up tied for 3rd, a good start to an important month. Yesterday we had the Governor's Cup Matches, pitting the best Utah Section PGA pros against the best Utah Golf Association amateurs. I played good all day, so did my partner Chris Gresh, and finished the matches 3-0 as the PGA pros beat the amateurs pretty good.

Right now I'm in Grand Junction, Colorado for the Rocky Mountain Open. I haven't traveled much this year, and it's really hard being away from my family. Hopefully I'll play well and make it worth the trip. I'm excited to play. It's a strong field, so a good start is important.
