Provo Open

It was a rough week last week for me on the golf course.  I had a couple of rough rounds in Denver, and wasn't close to making it through to the Open.  I continued to struggle back home, playing pretty badly in a one day event.  So I was left searching a bit, not having a lot of confidence.

I switched putters for the first time in years this Monday.  Since then, I've played some good golf.  The real test will be tomorrow in the first round of the Provo Open.  It is a course and tournament I've had some really good success in, so I am looking forward to it.  Will let you know how it goes.

Saltwater, Gladstan, US Open

Never got it going this year at the Saltwater.  It was a frustrating week, and I ended up tied for 9th.  Mediocre.

This weekend I'm playing in the Gladstan Open, a little local event.  I got off to a bad start, struggling with the putter.  74 leaves me some work in the second round today.  I figured out a little something in my putting on the last 3 holes, though, so hopefully I'll get hot.

It would be a good time to get hot, as right after the round today I'm heading to Denver for the final US Open qualifying round.  A couple good rounds and I'll be heading to Pebble!  Really looking forward to the opportunity.  Either way, it's great to have a chance.
