So here we are. There is a tentative plan for 2010. All of this depends on God, but here's where we are.
Personal Life: Our baby boy is due August 17th. Awesome. We are pumped.
Professional Life: The only way to get into the local pro tournaments is to get into the PGA. That entails a lot of bookwork, and being employed full time at a golf course. So, I'll be working at River Oaks Golf Course, the best public course in Sandy, Utah. I'm hoping to teach a bunch of lessons, practice a lot, and help out with things around the shop. Its a big plus that it is 3 minutes from our place. I'll also be running a spring and summer series of tournaments for the US Kids Golf Tour. Tournament administration is one of my likes, so this should be fun. In between all this, I hope to win every local and semi local tournament that I enter.
So there is some sort of a plan. It all depends on how well I'm playing (except the cool kid part, that's God's and Nicki's area), but this is the general idea. My next tournament? The PAT. The PGA Playing Ability Test in Boise, Idaho. It's not really a tournament, so the next actual tournament should be a local event about an hour down the road.
I hope you are all well. Hopefully there will be a lot of golf related posts this year.
