Black Diamond Finish

It felt good to be back on the golf course. I never got any momentum, just kind of plodded along. Scores were really low, so my 69-68--137 was only good for 11th place. Not terrible, especially considering how little I've been playing. A few breaks go the other way and I'm in it.

I've used the claw putting grip for the last 6 years, but I putted conventionally for the first time this weekend. It felt extremely good, and I'm looking forward to having a little more feel. Spending less time at the course, I haven't been hitting any range balls, mainly just hitting putts. The overhaul of my putting stroke really feels like it will pay off.

More caddying over the next few weeks. Hopefully get to play a little more next month.

Black Diamond Time

For the first time as a pro, I get to play in the tournament my dad started, the Black Diamond in Price, Utah. I haven't been playing much, been caddying a lot, so I don't really know what to expect (except low scores). All I know is it feels good to get to play in a tournament! Time to oarlay some winnings and get back on the road.
