Looking Forward

I only made 1 bogey the last two rounds, but my 6 birdies weren't enough to make up the deficit I'd created. So now it's back to the drawing board. I'll be figuring out where things are going in the next couple of weeks, and I will let you know.

08 1st Stage Round 1

I got off to a good start yesterday, making birdie on two of the first four. I ran into some trouble on the into the wind holes finishing the front nine. I was 1 over at the turn.

Getting downwind again I birdied 10,11,12, and 15. Back into the wind, I made a couple bogies coming in. I hit four shots on 18 exactly how I wanted, but the birdie putt just didn't go in.

So I ended up at 1 under, 71. We had a cold north wind yesterday, so scores were a bit higher than usual. 71 would have been the qualifying number, so I'm right on pace. If I can hit a few more solid shots into the wind, I'll get a good number up there today.

Tour School

It's here again. The biggest tournament of the year. You're either in or out, and the chasm between the two is huge.

PGA Tour qualifying, first stage, starts tomorrow. I feel like I've prepared, I feel like I'm ready, and I'm planning on getting on the good side of the qualifying number early.

I've got my computer, a movie, and a bedtime waiting for me. I'll keep you posted.
